The Old Mill welcomes artists and photographers to enjoy its beauty.
Informal, candid picture taking for personal use is permitted throughout the garden of The Old Mill. No photography is permitted inside the building. Amateur photographers may not use their representations of El Molino Viejo or the gardens of The Old Mill for any public or commercial purpose. Additional photographic equipment; such as lights, reflectors, props, costumes and models, are prohibited, except under commercial contract.
A permit is necessary for those who wish to use The Mill’s garden as a backdrop for formal, posed photography (weddings, engagements, quinceñeras, family groups, etc.) Commercial photography must be scheduled in advance and certain restrictions may apply. The use of a drone during a photography session is strictly prohibited. A photography permit will be issued for a maximum of two hours with a fee starting at $300.00. Artists may paint en plein air throughout the garden during The Mill’s public hours. Artists should bring a drop cloth and not block walkways or staircases.
